Sunday 10/14 - worship at 11am

A man ran up and knelt before Jesus, and asked him, "Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?" Mark 10:17

The answer the man eventually received confused him, because it required him to change, to do something he was unwilling to do, something that seemed impossibly hard.

Perhaps it is so with us. We may see or know the way that is best, yet are unwilling to do what we need to. Let's face it. It's easier to watch TV than to exercise or attend a meeting. It's easier to cling to what we have than to open our hands and heart and life to others. The really big things might seem as impossible as fitting a camel through the eye of a needle, so we attempt so much less.

This Sunday, like every day, God reaches out to open a new world of possibility. Pr. Hans Arnesen will preach and preside at a service of Holy Communion.

Come, know what is possible with God.
